Classroom Happenings:

First grade is very excited about the arrival of spring!   Our new science kit called Weather comes at a perfect time as we learn about the changes in the seasons.  We will explore many weather-related topics in this hands-on unit.

Earth Day will be celebrated on April 25.  The teachers have planned many exciting activities to learn about taking care of the earth.  We will explore the Stony Creek Nature Trail and share our Conservation Projects that week.   An assembly will culminate the special day. 

The students are looking forward to our trip to Giant Supermarket on April 29 and 30. Our classes will learn about nutrition and taste some yummy foods.  Look for information to follow.
